Agribank Corporate Social responsibility Program is entrenched in policy and procedures of Agribank continues to focus on establishing social infrastructure to create an enabling environment for prosperity of the community.
The area of focus is to support grassroots development activities related to Agricultural for prosperous Namibia tomorrow. Activities of sponsorship support include but not limited to

- Training of small-scale, resettled and emerging farmers
- Award for student excellence in Agriculture
Amb. L. Iipumbu (R) hands over a cheque of N$ 3,000 and a trophy to Mr. Kurniberth Mashendju Shamathi who scooped the award of the overall best 4th year student in the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Management at the Polytechnic of Namibia this year. Meanwhile, Agribank also bought textbook prizes for the best 1st, 2nd and 3rd year student in the Department of Agriculture as an acknowledgement for students with exceptional performance during 2008.
As a responsible corporate institution, Agribank reacted to government’s plea to coordinate resources in addressing the plight of flood victims in the north and north-eastern parts of the country who have been severely affected by this year’s flood. Seen in the picture is Amb. L. Iipumbu handing over a cheque of N$ 100,000.00 to the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. L. Amadhila.
